Rita A. Larson, 90, of 113 South Ninth Street, Olean, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her son's home after a brief illness.
Born on June 6, 1922, in New York City, NY she was daughter of John and Sarah Henry Good. On January 27, 1946, in New York City she married Leslie W. Larson who predeceased her.
Mrs. Larson worked for AVX in Olean prior to her retirement.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church in Olean. She liked to knit and enjoyed writing poetry.
Surviving are a son, William (Lisa) Larson of Obi; a daughter, Lesley (Nicholas) Patrone of Hinsdale;
ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; a brother, Terrance (Janice) Mulgrew of Bowling Green, OH;
a sister, Mary Joseph of Olean; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend Rennie Kayes who was like a son.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister Agnes Gerchario.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, NY.
Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba.
