Nathan M. Joy, of 9793 Rte 446, Cuba, died unexpectedly Monday, June 29, 2009.
Born on November 15, 1981, in Cuba, New York he was a son of Ralph B. and Kelley R. Thompson Joy.
Mr. Joy was a graduate of Cuba Rushford School class of 1999. Mr. Joy had served in the United States Army for Several years.

Mr. Joy enjoyed spending time with his children.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Ralph (Tammy) Joy of Cuba; his mother, Kelley Bean of Hinsdale;
his wife, Megan Torpey of Cuba; three sons, Caleb Reichert of Cuba, Cayden W. Joy at home, and Reyton T. Joy at home;
a daughter, Mercedes Torpey-Joy at home; paternal grandmother, Ina Joy; maternal grandmother, Ethel Thompson; six brothers,
Jeremia Joy of Hinsdale, Andrew Joy of Cuba, Ryan, Jordan, Dustin, and Dylan Stebbins all of Hinsdale; two sisters,
Ashley (Bradley) Freeman of Painted Post, and Allison Joy of Cuba; and three nieces.
Friends will be recieved at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Monday July 6, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. until Noon at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. will officiate.
