Mary Virginia ("Ginny") Hull
Loving Mother and Grandmother
Mary Virginia Hull, 84, of 11 Stevens Avenue, Cuba, passed away Tuesday August 17, 2010 at home surrounded by her family after a short illness.

Born on April 26, 1926, in Bradford, P.A., she was the daughter of Merle J. and Helen Wagner Leipold. On May 8, 1943, in Olean, New York, she married Robert E. Hull who predeceased her on November 24, 1990.

A long-time Cuba resident, she was employed by Cuba Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aide and ward secretary for many years prior to finishing her career as a housewife and mother.

Ginny was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family especially during the holidays. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.

She was a member of the: Cuba VFW Post 2721 Auxiliary, Cuba American Legion Post 655 Auxiliary, Disabled American Veterans.

Surviving are three daughters, Judy (Charles) Wing, Scio, Shari Hull, Cuba, and Melody (Larry) Hayward, Cuba, 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, a son-in-law Robert Whippo of Jamestown, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons Robert E. Hull, Terrence "Terry" R. Hull, two daughters Sally L. Whippo, and Sandra L. "Sandy" Amundson, and a granddaughter Tamie K. Lockwood.

Friends may call at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. The Rev. Larry A. Poelma, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cuba, will officiate.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
