Raymond L. Foster
Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather

Raymond L. Foster, 80, 4372 Mossbrook Road, Friendship, passed away on Monday March 18, 2024 at Jones Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born on December 30, 1943, in Cuba, he was a son of Clifton and Genevieve Sweeney Foster. On August 18, 2002, in Cuba, he married the former Pamela J. Adams who survives.

Ray was a graduate of Friendship Central School. He worked for Quaker State in Bradford, Pennsylvania prior to his retirement. He also owned and operated his own farm, which was his favorite job.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Bolivar.

In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and hunting.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kaitlyn Earley of Wisconsin, Casey (Michael) Rix of Cuba and Chris Boser of Allegany; his grandchildren, Mikayla “Mikay”, Ethan “Oodie”, Baylee, Allie, and Cameron; a brother, Robert (Diane) Foster of Friendship; 2 sisters, Ellen Lone of Arcadia, California and Regina Park of Sun City, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 3 Brothers Richard Foster, James Foster, and Gerald Foster, and 2 Sisters Elizabeth Storm and Margaret Prescott.

Friends may call at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9:00-11:00 A.M., at which time Funeral Services will be held. Deacon Frank Pasquale, will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Friendship, New York.

Memorial may be made to the American Heart Association.
