Molly Bishop, 86, of 3074 Riverside Dr., Wellsville, passed away October 22, 2023 at the Houghton Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, after a brief illness.
Born on April 26, 1937, in Richburg, New York she was a daughter of John D. Mary E. Dick Faulkner. She was married to Richard Bishop who predeceased her.
She was a graduate of Richburg Central School Class of 1955. In 1958, she graduated from Rochester General Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
Molly had worked at Dresser Rand, at one time provided home health care, and in later years drove semi-truck for a period of time with her husband.
She was a member of the Followers of the Way Church in Nile.
Molly loved caring for animals including cats and birds. Taking care of her animals was a lifelong passion of hers.
She is survived by 2 brothers, Donald Faulkner and Duane Faulkner, both of Richburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Molly's life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Followers of the Way Church, 4094 Rte. 275, Friendship, New York 14739. Rev. Kevin Palmiter will officiate.
