Born on August 31, 1933, in Campbell, New York, she was a daughter of Leroy and Sybil (Wax) McKeel. On November 9, 1952, in Bolivar, she married George Steiner who predeceased her in 1996.

Mary worked for Cooper Industries for many years prior to her retirement in 1995.

She enjoyed doing here crossword puzzles, reading books and being with family.

She is survived by her children Merri Miller of Clarksville and Carl Steiner and Georgia Steiner both of Bolivar, and John Steiner of St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania. 15 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and lots of great great grandchildren. She was proud to be a grandmother of five generations.

In addition to her parents and husband, George Steiner she was predeceased by twin sons whom died in infancy, a son Gary Steiner, a daughter Sherri Anderson, and a son-in-law Bim Miller.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at West Genesee Cemetery, Route 305 Obi at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Steven Beattie, will officiate. A Celebration of life will follow after the graveside service at the West Clarksville Park.
