Marlene K. Climie, 68, of North Branch Road, Town of Cuba, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family after a short illness.
Born on March 6, 1942, in Salamanca, NY, she was a daughter of Leonard J. and Lillian Miller Bishop. On August 27, 1966, in St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Little Valley, she married her husband of 44 years Raymond B. Climie who survives.

Mrs. Climie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be remembered for her quick witt, and one of a kind sense of humor especially during her illness. She enjoyed caring for her family in need, gardening, and her house plants.
When her children were younger she was involved as a den mother for Cub Scout troop 410 where she worked alongside her husband for many fundraisers.
She was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in West Seneca and was past president of the Union Fire Company Auxiliary of Gardenville , NY prior to retiring to the southern tier.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Raymond B. Climie, Jr. of Cary, NC, Peter J. (Abigail) Climie of Memphis, TN, and
Kristopher B. (Stacey) Climie; a granddaughter, Grace R. Climie; 3 step grandchildren; a sister Alice M. (John J.) Caruso of Salamanca; and several nieces and nephews.
Private Family visitation and funeral services will be held. The Rev. Sonya "Sunny" Mauser, pastor of the Cuba United Methodist Church will officiate.
Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., Cuba.
