Marguerite G. Crosby, 91, of 8802 Hideaway Lane, West Clarksville, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Absolut of Houghton after a lengthy illness.
Born on August 19, 1932, in Odessa, Michigan, she was a daughter of Walter and Theo Dailey Crosby.
Marguerite was a stay-at-home mother and homemaker most of her life. She was an avid reader enjoying the selections at the Cuba Library, enjoyed quilting, traveling to craft shows and loved the outdoors and all the animals that visited her home throughout the years, including deer, birds, and bears. Most of all she loved being with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Johanna Hewitt of West Clarksville; her grandchildren, Dean Davis, David VanAsperen, Heather VanAsperen, Brandie VanAsperen, Leea VanAsperen, Thomas VanAsperen, Jason Hewitt, and Scott Hewitt; many great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons David VanAsperen and Thomas VanAsperen, a daughter Cyndi Davis and a grandson Chad Davis.
Services will be private held by the family.
Marguerites care and cremation were entrusted to the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., Cuba.
