J. Thomas Odell, 83, of 111 Bristol St., Cuba, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born on July 18, 1928, in Cuba, NY, he was a son of Stanley K. and Ida M. Winchell Odell. On November 24, 1948, in the Cuba United Methodist Church he married the former June Shelley who survives.

Mr. Odell was a lifelong resident Cuba and began working for Acme Electric Corp as an accounting clerk and eventually was appointed to the Vice President of Administration retiring July 1, 1990.
He was a member of several professional business organizations. Tom enjoyed fishing, golfing when able, and spending time with his wife and family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Kevin Odell of Franklinville, and Kerry (Cathy) Odell of Morgantown, West Virginia;
one daughter, Kathleen (Mike) Manesh of Lakeworth, Florida; seven grandchildren and six great grand children;
two brothers, David (Kay) Odell of Cuba, and Harold D. (Louise) Odell of New Smyrna Beach, Florida;
and several nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Odell's request there will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
