John P. Zeitler: Beloved Husband, Father

John P. Zeitler, 60, of Cuba, New York, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 21, 2009 at home.
Born on November 17, 1948, in Sharon, PA, he was a son of Norbert and Patricia Duffy Zeitler. On November 29, 1977, in St. Stanislaus Church, Sharon PA, he married the former Ann R. Nagy who survives.
Mr. Zeitler graduated from St. Marks High School in Erie, Pa. After high school he graduated from Gannon University with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.

He was currently employed by Dresser Rand of Olean, New York as a NC Programmer for the last 22 years.
Mr. Zeitler was devoted to his family and church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He also enjoyed golfing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, John S. Zeitler of PA.; a daughter, Christine M. Zeitler at home; 10 Siblings,
William (Nancy) Zeitler of CT., Mary (Mike) Lieberman of NJ.,
James (Kathleen) Zeitler of Mass., Daniel (Norene) Zeitler of Ohio,
Helen Branton of NJ.,
Joseph Zeitler of Ohio,
Robert (Caty) Zeitler of Alaska, Edward (Cindy) Zeitler of Alaska, Margaret (Tom) Chimenti of CT., and Patricia (Ray) Lizotte of Mass.; and
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a niece Elizabeth M. Zeitler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 24, 2009 at 11:00 in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 50 South Street, Cuba, New York 14727. Fr. Jerome M. Dissek, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Cuba.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
