Helen R. Williams, 69, of 6533 Crabb Hollow Rd, Black Creek, Passed away Tuesday August 17, 2010 at home after a lengthy illness.
Born on May 25, 1941, on the Family farm in new Hudson, she was a daughter of George and Flora Searl Slater. On June 29, 1957, in New Hudson, she married Richard L. Williams who survives.

Mrs. Williams has lived in the area her entire life and was a loving homemaker. Her greatest joy was baking. Anyone who stopped at her house could guarantee receiving a sweet treat before leaving. She was especially known for helping anyone in need.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Ronnie (Lorraine) Williams, Southern United States, two daughters Lisa (William) Larson, Cuba, Peggy (Robert) Gelz, Black Creek, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend who was like a daughter, Barb Borden.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 3 infant boys, a brother David Slater who died in infancy, and a sister Sue Slater who also died in infancy.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home and Memorial Service, 9 Bull St. Cuba, on Thursday August 19, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. Until Noon at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Leslie E. Chambers, pastor of the West Clarksville Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Bellville Cemetery, Town of New Hudson.
