Greta H. Fodor
Greta H. Fodor, 89, of 8815 Beebe Hill Rd., and formerly of 9140 East Main Road, Cuba, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Wellsville Manor Care Center after a lengthy illness with family at her side.

Born on Aril 14, 1921, in Olean, New York she was a daughter of Guy and Mary Wolfe Kinnicutt. On July 12, 1943, in Our Lady of Angels Church, Cuba, she married Joseph J. Fodor who predeceased her.

Mrs. Fodor worked at the Gas Mask Factory in Tennessee during World War II and for her service is recognized with her name being listed on the WWII memorial in Washington, DC. She also worked for Schryver's Market as a Meat Packer and wrapper prior to retiring.

When her children were younger she was a Cub Scout leader. She was a member of Our Lady of Angels Church, the Cuba Home Bureau, the Voting and Election Board, and a member of the Cuba American Legion Post 655 Auxiliary for 64 years.

Mrs. Fodor enjoyed knitting, reading, and traveling.

She is survived by her children, Joseph L. Fodor of Cuba, Linda (James) Ormsby, Bonnie (Mark) Bradley of Cuba, Billie (Earl) Stellrecht of Cuba, and Alice (Joel) Vanik of Cuba; her grandchildren, David, Peter, and Matthew Ormsby, Erin Bradley-Bragdon, Barbara Bradley-Hotalen, Heather Fodor, Kristin Stellrecht-Crandall, Derek Stellrecht, Joshua Vanik, and Andrea Vanik-Sherwood; 12 great grandchildren, a sister Rhea Baldwin of Olean; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by two sisters Virginia Matteson and Reva Kinnicutt.

At Mrs. Fodor's request private family services were on Friday, January 07, 2011 with Fr. Jerome M. Dissek officiating.

Burial was in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Cuba, New York.
