Gerry graduated from Cuba Central School Class of 1955. He very proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1955-1957 during the Korean Conflict receiving the Good Conduct and National Defense Service Medals.
Mr. Resch spent many years working for his family beverage business. Over the years he had a number of diversified jobs in trucking and sales.
With friends everywhere he went, many grew to rely on his faithfulness and care. He'd do anything for anybody. In his years of retirement he continued helping others and enjoyed daily socializing with his cronies. Gerry was also content just getting in his truck and driving.
A lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW, he served in various capacities, including being Man of the Year of the Cuba American Legion Post 655 in 1996. Gerry was also a member of the Eagles and Italian Clubs in Bradford, PA.
